I have an LG 4K IPS monitor atm but i hate watching Youtube or any films on it as it's grainy and not very sharp when i make it full screen.

Watching the same video on my 55" 4K TV the picture is amazing for a 1080p Youtube clip, what should i do?

I can't bare go back to a 1080p monitor and a 3440x1440 is too big for what i need, can someone recommend a 2560x1440 IPS monitor please?

My tv is the Samsung 55" ks7000 UHD HDR tv, it must have some processing going on as playing YouTube through the smart app looks great.

The same videos on my 4k monitor look crap when made full screen, as most of the YouTube content I watch is filmed in 1080p 60fps it loses sharpness. My monitor is 27" 4K IPS.

Maybe it's fine and I've been spoilt by the picture quality of my tv.

I'm using Windows 7, an Nvidia 1080Ti and using chrome.

I've tried FF, I won't use IE as it's poor.

4K clips looks great as do 1440p videos, it's just 1080p which looks naff.

I'll go back to 2560x1440 I think, there's only 3 YouTube channels that I watch that upload in 4K.
