I won't name the brand but I'm looking at buying some new monitors for an office extension. In our current office we have the 1920x 1080 variant and have been quite happy with them, however, when looking online I see the new version is 1920 x 1200 which is obviously more vertical real estate.

I am trying to decide whether to pay £150 for the 1920 x 1080 or whether it's worth an extra £30 per monitor for the 1920 x 1200 version. We need 12 of these so it's a difference of £360 in all.

Both monitors are the same brand, same product range, both are 24" (well the 1080 is 23.8").

Would appreciate opinions.

A discount would likely be similar for either models though so it still begs the question of whether an extra £30 on a sub £200 monitor is worth it for the difference.

Work wise it will be graphic design, accounts, etc so quite varied.
