I'm asking those who have seen both in the flesh, how does 1440p 27" compare to 1080p 23"?

Obviously 1440p is going to look better, but is it £700 better? Which is the extra money required for investment in GPU and monitor to play at 1440p.

Basically, I can afford either... but only if the extra cost justifies it.

Opinions/comments please.

Having not too long ago made the jump to 2560x1440p, my only regret is how much it cost me.

I had quite a nice TN 1080p panel, and was never sure how much nicer a high res 27" glossy screen would look.

One day decided just to go for it, and I love my 27" Hazro. I am one of the lucky ones hwo got no dead pixels.

It took a little while to get used to the pixel pitch, but when I tried my old monitor again for kicks, i wasn't sure how I ever lived without an IPS glossy screen :)

Of course, it did land up costing a ton, cause I landed basically having to build a whole new system so I could crossfire to be able to run high settings.

I have been using 27" for a while now, and couldn't go back to something like 23". If you have not gone as high as 27" before, then I would suggest just go for it on the Hazro :)

I wouldnt go back to anything less than 2560x1440 27". Luckly my graphics card had no issues with running that resolution and dual monitors (kept my old 19" widescreen for dual), a touch for £140 graphics card.

Depends what monitor your looking at spending £700 more on over the cost of which 23"?

One word: Hazro

Have 2560x1440 and change in your pocket.

I did read somewhere on these forums that there were multiple people reporting problems with the Hazro's (was back in sept ish, mind) like the screen going dark and lines across them etc

has this problem now been rectified by Hazro then?

I like the price of them but don't want to play screen lotto
