Hi all

Hope one of you have an idea on the issue I’m having with my system at the min.

Maybe once a day I will lose signal to my display , all fans still run and oddly enough I can still Remote Desktop into the machine.

I thought it was maybe the hot weather playing havoc while gaming but I’ve had it happen while in desktop on a much cooler day.

The only way around the issue I’ve found is to turn pc off fully and back in again.

Not sure if it’s the card or maybe the psu, was hoping someone has any ideas before I start playing musical chairs trying different bits in different machines.

Thanks in advance

System:
2700x
16 Gb 3200 team group gibbo ram
Strix 1080ti
Asus prime x470 pro
Corsair hx750ti

Can you still hear audio when it happens? What are you typically doing when it occurs? Or is it just when the PC is idle? What monitor are you using - could be a power saving type setting? What connection are you using; HDMI, DP etc?

It's mostly been while gaming which made me assume it was heat related until it recently happened while on desktop.

I've tried a few different power settings after reading round.
It's currently connected to a 4k TV via HDMI but.it has happened on a 4k monitor too.
I currently don't hear sound as when the screen goes black as I let the sound come from TV , when using the monitor and speakers I could hear sound still.

It's not a full pc crash which is ttlhe weird bit as I can remote desktop into the machine.

I've read a few suggestions online I will try like don't use one cable that splits to 2 X 6+2 pcie but use 2 separate cables , full driver uninstalls etc
