1080Ti Founders Edition Pulled from E-tailers

Was this thread just started to strike up a coversation about FE's because the OP is total fake news. Not even a source.
Maybe I should start a thread saying "2080ti Founders Editions out next month !" and see what happens :P

I don't agree. With Sufficient Air cooling they work fine in the test environment and field. As a matter of fact one of our customers has just ordered a new workstation with 4x1080ti as their other 2 have been running perfectly stable (normal 1080 x4) You just have to ensure that the hot air is expelled. I have ran nbody simulations (Which kick the crap out of the cards) overnight without crash or any sort of failure.

I don't know what you are doing with these workstations but I can speak from experience that my 4 GTX 1080s run very badly in the same PC.

I don't think I would ever want to buy one of your workstations.:D

Tested and used daily in all sorts of environments, built a significant amount of them with no issues... Speaks for its self! ;)

I think the fact that they work, is different from them working as well as they could do. I've had multiple SLI PCs and when the cards are cramped together like that, the top cards will throttle 100% of the time. There's not enough room for cool air to be blown through.

Again, these are mainly used in Rack Environment so significant air flow from the high performance fans that sit right behind them in a custom case with 3 x high flow 60mm fans right above the cards as well as a 120mm exhaust. How do you think Tesla cards maintain performance? Also check out the Gigabyte G25N-G51 or the TYAN FT77CB7079, both certified for 8 x Tesla K80 all stuck together, fully certified solution.

BTW, these are used as Compute cards mainly NOT SLI.. ;)

how much are they going to cost & will my 250w power supply be ok :D

They are expected to sit between $800 to $950 taking into Brexit/Inflation/Theresa May's visit to Belgium this week expect that to translate to £1050 or there abouts. It comes with three triple AAA titles yet to be revealed and according to Rorgs-Drift.net where I got the information from its 30% faster than a 1080ti and comes with GDDR6 RAM. So glad I waited now for this card although I think you need to get a new power supply. I have heard however that the 2060ti will work fine with a 250w supply though.

You mean like in this PC

:D:)

Kaap, the room must be like a sauna. I've got one of them hooked up to 720mm of rad space (CPU on air) and the place gets hot after an hour of gaming (especially VR).

What rad space do you have for 4... I would assume 720mm if you've got the CPU in the loop too?
