Managed to get +180 on the core and +680 on the memory clock. Is this good / average / poor. Would appreciate a little feedback to see if I'm leaving anything on the table.

When I try to clock anything above these setting it starts to get unhappy running Time Spy bench

Also why the heck does Afterburner show 5692 MHz for mem and GPU-Z show 1545.1 MHz ???

I'd say that's pretty decent myself.
I can only add +110 to the core on mine and it hits around 2k MHz boost, depending on game. That's having tested in many games (rather than just demos).

You might as well unlock the voltage and put it to 100% and see if that helps at all. As Nvidia has the voltage locked anyway at a safe level (IE. 1.092v). You wont do any harm. But I suspect you are pretty much already at the limit of what the card can manage.

Afterburner and GPU-Z just report the memory frequency differently (IE. x2 and x8).

PS. I'd be interested to see if the card holds that high a boost running Heaven (highest settings) and in an actual demanding game. Out of interest, what is your monitor resolution?

Had to drop the core clock by 10, back to +170 to complete the benchmark.

Ran it at the complete default settings at 1600x900 and also at 2560x1440 with everything maxed out.

Seems to be behaving now.

Looking good to me.

Just carry on and use it for what it was intended. And dial it back a bit if you hit any problems.

Enjoy.

Don't play many games, wanted the upgrade from the 980 mainly for the the extra CUDA performance in Premier Pro video encoding and Lightroom.

Heaven at 1440p in line with what I get at those settings. Slightly higher clocks on the OPs card (mine starts at 2012 and stabilises at 1987).

good score on the heaven benches, only 9 fps behind my Titan Xp which sits at 1975 during benchmark and 13ghz on the memory (+800) for 624 gb/s Bandwidth
