1080ti - Triple 1440p?

Hi,

Currently building a new PC with a 7700k @ 5ghz and want triple 1440p screens for X Plane 11 flight simulator. Would a water-cooled 1080ti card provide enough power for 3x1440p to run it at 60fps?

If not , I may go for 3x1080p as want a decent fps with it all

1440p is just under 4 million pixels per screen. 11 million for 3 screens.

4K is just over 8 million pixels.

So performance will be a bit worse than any 4k benches you can find. Should be doable though.

Try p3d v4 64-bit sim too, it's awesome

Triple 1080p screens would be 6.2 million so should be able to get a solid 60fps out of that then shouldn't I?

Tried that and also FSX and prefer X Plane as I find it harder, which is more true to life. Each to their own though and I do like some things in P3D but not enough to switch.

Just a shame X Plane isn't SLI ready as would just buy 3x1080ti's and have 3x1440p screens with 144hz and would be awesome.
