I have bought a 1080ti, i have two 144hz monitors I bought 2 display port to DVI cables

I plugged in one monitor via DPS to DVI fire up all is well but wont let me change to 144hz in nvidia control panel

I plug in two monitors and the second monitor had red line going through it

i use one monitor with the normal DVI cable and it go to 144hz no issues

why using DVI?

If you want to use DVI use the HDMI port with a HDMI - DVI cable.

Surely if you are using as 144hz monitor they have displayport or mini displayport? Why use a converter cable?

Ive ordered 2 DP to hdmi my HDMI slot is in a wierd place

Which monitors are you using and which 1080ti?
I am running 3 x 144hz monitors through my 1080ti using 3 x Displayport, no issues at all and looks fantastic!

Palit super jetstream benq q 144hz monitor but they only have dvi vga and hdmi slots

Ah I see.
I'm sure I read somewhere that HDMI couldn't do 144hz, only D-dvi could but don't take that as fact.
