Hey, so I've got a new Dell Precision 3640 from work, about a week old, and I've noticed today that it's only showing 10 logical cores in both task manager and HWinfo64. When I first got the PC it was fine, it's only today that I've noticed the change.
Any ideas on what could be causing it? Either Windows or BIOS or something?
Screenshot of Task Manager showing 10 Cores,10 logical processors (should be 10/20):
Screenshot of HWInfo showing 10 cores, but only 1 thread each:
EDIT:
Okay so I checked the BIOS (what a weird BIOS it has) and for some reason Hyperthreading got disabled... Enabled it again and now it's showing all 20 threads as expected. I'm a little confused about why it disabled itself though...
