10900k Price Hikes

Was just finalising what mobo to go for and the 10900k’s have shot up best part of £70

They were £479.99 now upto £559.99

Would have thought they’d have gone down a bit with the way Ryzen have been selling

I know the new Ryzen CPUs are around the corner, one of the reasons I’m surprised to see a price hike.

To put on a sale, they legally have to have had the higher price for at least 3 weeks. Currys do this all the time, argos too

I think your spot on. Black Friday is what 3 weeks basically away now or just over.

So will wait and see.

10850k is still the way to go if you really want intel .. unless you want to overclock... 10900k seems to be the better option as it is higher binned chip

aye, will be looking/hoping to get an all core 5.1Ghz clock out of it.
