I need to get 2 pairs of 4 inch speakers for my car (front & back), they're running off a Sony CDX-GT300Si with a Connects2 adapter, unfortunately, not being audio minded, all i know is that the current clarion speakers in my suzuki swift are practically the worst sounding things ever.

Anyway, could someone help me with decent bang for buck speakers, not too expensive, just sound better than a fart on a snare drum.

Also, if you know of any decent cradles for ipods, preferably one where i can connect the lead to the bottom, and then the ipod just slots into the cable, instead of slotting the cable in each time.

Any help would be much appreciated folks.

4" speakers suck hardball. They really do. Ohhh man they are bad sooooooo bad. Erm I assume you just want the best direct fit jobbies. Look at alpine or pioneer replacement if your on a tight budget. For what its worth just pop down to halfords and listen to the demo ones.

Not much you can do with 4" and reasonable budget so little point in doing much else.

aye, i was contemplating putting some on my parcel shelf, but seeing as that damn thing isnt even attached to anything i thought better of it, and i dont fancy rewiring the entire inside of my car :D
