well i just had mine arrive and although its not the end of the world i feel a little disappointed... the battery grip i had for my 20D was metal like the body itself - but the battery grip for the 10D is plastic! 
whats that all about!
shame they didnt make a metal version for the 10D as it is rather odd feeling the cold of the metal in landscape but feeling warm plastic in portrait
