I've recently been watching a lot of HD videos on my new Hyundai A321 via the VGA through my pc (matrix in 1080i :D ooooo yes) , now i've been unplugging it all and moving it to the other side of the room, which is a bit of a pain each time, so....... what i wanted to know is would i notice any visual degradation if i was to get a 10M long vga cable and run it across the room? is there any signal loss on a cable of such length?....
Is it strongly advised to steer clear of 'cheaper' branded cables (as i've seen some for as low as £3) and go for a more quality item?? (any recommendations welcome)

fantastic TV btw, really really pleased

I have one at 10m, I think I payed about £10 for it and the quality is very good.
I think you would have to go quite a length before quality started to drop as long as you don't go for the cheapest you can find.

It shouldn't be a problem but you don't know till you try, my XFX 6200 can't do 5m via VGA properly but is fine with DVI

I have found long cables a bit hit and miss. Ive found the best quality has actually come from DIY cat5e cables.

Think im running about 15m to the back of my living room for a projector.
