Hey,

I'm running this rig -

Intel Q6600
Asus P5K Premium Mobo
4GB OCZ Gold RAM
Radeon 1GB HD4870

All on Windows 7, now, before my mobo had issues, I was running CoD4 at 200 FPS+, now after it's back and I updated my drivers, I get 11-17FPS on it, I am getting rather annoyed.

I think it's not the only game running slow, GRID is running slower than usual too.

Before you go reinstalling, do a simple restore bios to defaults, doesn't hurt to try before you spend at least an hour fussing about.

Ok, I'll try that.

When OcUK had my mobo they updated my BIOS, do you think that could be causing it?

Also when in the BIOS make sure the PCI-E setting isn't at x1 or something instead of x16, incase the card is being bottlenecked. Don't worry if you don't have this setting.

I think that's what it is...

In the Catalyst control center it says PCI-E x2, I'll set it to x16 in the morning

Yes, it is in the blue one. And I've read I need to change my PCI-E bus frequency, I've tried 105, 110 and I'll try everything from 100 to 110 soon

Ok, a CMOS clear has made it back to x8, why is it not x16 yet?

Although, it was x1 and I could get it to x2 from changing it, which is double, if I changed frequency do you think I could get it up to x16 from changing it?
