Quick question... does anyone here also have a problem with Photoshop CS5 with the 11.3 and 11.4 drivers? As in the GPU support is not working even though it's enabled.
And if you are, have you found a way to get it working? (without going back to older drivers)

Whats funny about this is that in the release notes they say they have fixed this issue that also existed in 11.2... but they worked fine! I keep saying it but it's obvious a month is not enough time to make quality video drivers, as demonstrated every month by AMD

I had major issues with 11.3.

Went back to 11.2 and everything isd fine again.

My problem was my system ram usage went up by 2-3Gb, and when I looked for the process responsible, all processes were at 0-1% cpu usage....

Problem only existed when I updated video drivers. Downgraded and problem dissapeared.

The biggest difference between 11.2 and 11.3 is the open CL driver is intergrted in to the display driver in 11.3.

Maybe thats the culprit.

Just use 11.2 for now untill WHQL 11.4 is released.

I hope 11.4 fix this though because at the moment the BETA 11.4 also has it.

The 11.3/4 drivers improve performance for some games i play so i'm just gunna stick with them for now. The only problems i have are with Photoshop and the HDMI driver that still dont install... i've never got any HDMI driver to install for my 6970's unless i just install the HDMI driver from 10.9 or older. Kinda sad.
Dont know how such big problems are acceptable for AMD, it's like they have no quality testing, and i know for a fact many others have the HDMI issue.

I wouldnt be too optimistic.

As far as I know, AMD do a performance driver, followed by one bug fix, then one performance driver followed by bug fix.

The 11.4's are a performance driver.
