£1100 gaming system

another spec me im afraid, boring boring boring

1100, also needs keyboard and mouse (but not planning to spend £100 for a mouse so no mambas etc. playing on a 1980x1000 HD tv no soundcard needed as friend is not one of those types that has to have perfect sound.

Any reason you've gone for an mATX motherboard ?

is the 750w psu to cover going xfire with 4890's ?, if not i'd go for a 600w version.

motherboard was a mistake

clicked on wrong button silly me undecided on case as need to take into account my friends opinion etc.

second gpu may be on option in the future so psu is there just in case as it costs only a little more and the extra cost is far less than a whole new psu later on

You might want a lightscribe drive to, it's only a few quid more.

And you could get a Samsung EcoGreen F2 1TB HDD 32MB Cache, quick, quiet and cheap.

And you could get a better case, like a Dominator.

prefer intel to amd m8 im afraid and i wudda thought a 4890 would be pleanty seeing as i have a 4850 running a similar tv

Quick? You're describing a 5400rpm hdd as quick ? Avoid if using for OS and Games.

But nice for general storage.

the WD caviar black 1tb would be faster than the f2, or you could go for the 7,200rpm F1
