We've got a new 1100d and we're having problems with auto focus at the 18mm focus range with the included lens, it seems to be really really picky about what it will autofocus on to and very indecisive.
You can half depress the button and not get the confirmation bleep, the dot is flashing in the bottom right, it's not until you move the camera around a bit it will then obtain focus, but as soon as you recompose it re-focusses and won't take the picture, does this sound like a fault?
