1155 Chipset help

Hi can anyone tell me what 1155 chipset is best for a i3 HTPC setup, i would like to use the onboard GPU, so will need HDMI onboard..

I would go with Z77 myself, almost all the boards on overclockers have DVI/HDMI for onboard.

H61/B75 is cheaper though and does offer HDMI on some boards.

H77 has all the features of Z77 but without overclocking. AFAIK you can't overclock the i3 processors anyway so there's not much point in paying more for a Z77 board.

For onboard graphics, yes the AMD Trinity CPUs are a hell of a lot better than anything intel has right now.

Yeah, I agree with this.

Depends what form factor OP needs, if miniITX there isn't much cheaper than what I linked, the H77 and Z77 are the same price this week for that board.

If it's for HTPC use, I would be more tempted to go with AMD due to the 24 fps bug on the Intel GPUs.
