1155 Replacement CPU from S775 E6600

What's the best/most cost efficient CPU in the 1155 range, don't need massive performance, might do a little streaming, and apart form that it will be an Internet Temrinal

probably an i3. infact any ix processor from the first to the latest gen will be fine for that.

maybe even an amd cpu, as they are cheaper.

i3's seem to weigh in at £100 wanted to be tighter than that

Buy a used intel parts... I got me a 2500k+Z68 motherboard for £132.

Or buy usedIntel socket 1336 parts... The i7's on that platform are dirt cheap now and you can normally pick them up for less then £100.

Cheers, but in an ideal would would be low power and near silent, think i5 and i7 would be too much, might look into AMD solution

Tinity is very low power..

Intel do version of the i3, i think the 'S' is a power efficent version.
