1156 MOTHERBOARD

TBH, if you are thinking of spending £150 on a motherboard then you should at least consider an X58 route (if you haven't already bought a s1156 chip).

You can get this Gigabyte X58A -UD3R for £157 now. It does proper x16x16 crossfire, SATA 6Gb/s, USB3 and overclocks very well.

Also the Asus P6T SE only costs £151 these days.

As well as the greater PCI-E bandwidth, X58 also supports triple channel memory and has confirmed support for upcoming 6 core, 32nm CPUs.
