1156 vs 1366???

Is 1366 being phased out or it being maintained for the high end parts?

been out of the game for a few months and it's all bloody changed :S

cheers, it's all quite confusing looking at the performance of the 8 series chips.

Hmm, i'm looking to update a mATX system that i will only ever use 1 gfx card in there. so perhaps a p55 mATX and i7 8 series may be teh proepr way to go. I was previously looking at the X58 based Asus GENE mobo.

It does a lot of encoding, i guess the triple channel RAM may be beneficial there.
