11700k + Noctua U14s

I have been given an 11700k and a Z590 motherboard by a family member who wasted no time updating to Alderlake!

I figure I might as well use it since it's free and it should be a bit of an upgrade over my 8700k (not expecting much though).

Will my trusty old Noctua U14s be up to the task of cooling it, or should I be looking at a NH D15? I have no interest in anything water related with my luck! Will try to run it without power limits if I can, as the power draw doesn't especially bother me.

Having checked the specs I reckon you’ll be ok if you don’t overclock it.

yeah should be fine at stock

Seems to be running fine, gets a bit toasty during a burn test but that's to be expected. For general use/gaming it seems to be running a bit cooler than my 8700k.
