It's really odd the time I spend gaming I should be some kind of god by now but when ever I play at multiplayer in any fps I'm completely hopeless. In singleplayer I can pwn games blind folded.

I'm trying to work out why online fps games don't click with me. It's very dishearting indeed when you suck at the very thing you best at. I finally got some online action in Prey and I completely stunk. Which is odd has I find the game really easy in story mode.

I'm pretty similar to be honest, I think some people are really good as sussing out AI whilst not necessarily being the most dextrous gamer in the world making Player vs CPU a piece of **** but Player vs Player more difficult.

Online rpgs are a little different but FPs's I'm usually dead on the floor in second, mind you I only play them for about 12 hours per year:)

Preys meant to be very laggy online btw just to warn you, that might be contributing to it. Although single player prey might seem easy as you cant really die in it.

Yeah 12 hours lol. That's how I got over 12k achievement points in a couple of months. :D BTW Prey is the best £6 spent on my 360.

- Practice with your favorite weapon and dont change.
- Create bot servers to practice in so you can learn to aim within difficult situations
- Sniper Rifles are usually the key to better aiming and use Automatic rifles for close counter combat.
- Dont play on large servers, cant stress that enough really. Its not tactical gameplay its rushing/random bombing.
- Concentrate on 1 game lthough playing Counter Strike is the best game to learn with.

Thats the only advice i can give. Absolutely no need for 12+ hours a day unless thats what you enjoy doing as i used to practice CSS for 2 hours a day then a 2 hour clan match and it's all i ever needed.

If you stop playing or change games you skill base will decrease.

Hopefully you found that of some help :)

I think this proves, time spent ≠ skill gained.

Go outside, and do something beneficial :(

Because people are clever and use tactics, AI is horrendously predictable and crap.
