Hi all,
I started running earlier this year in about May. I was doing really well and ran the London half marathon in September in 1:56. I then ran the great east run in October in a time I was really pleased with 1:47.
Now since then I've only been out twice. I know it's a lame excuse but I've just been too busy what with moving house and work. I've also manages to put on about a stone in weight from 15 to 16st.
The issue is that I'm running the Brighton Marathon at the beginning on April and that's only about 3 months away now.
Have you guys got any advice or links to good training plans? When I was running before I just used to go out 3 or 4 times a week and just used to run however far I felt like doing (normally either 5 or 10k). Should I step it up now? I'm really worried that after two months off I'll be starting from a standing start, what do you think?
Help!
