as title really, i've been tasked with getting my hands on a laptop for adobe creative cloud, a bit of photoshop, indesign and illustrator. ideally for 1k but can at an absolute push stretch to 1200.....and in stock sometime this side of the next millenium :p
anyone any suggestions? most of the hp stuff that seemed like it might be a goer seems to be out of stock

I recently bought a new Lenovo for work, and tried it out with Lightroom once weekend. It was impressively fast, had a decent screen and keyboard and good battery life.

Part number was: 82B50043UK, but it seems to be out of stock at the moment. We got it on a 24h sale from Lenovo direct at £899 with £100 off list price.

I would advise against buying from Lenovo directly. They use Digital River. Nightmare of a company to deal with if you have any issues. You've been warned.

Seems to be the case with most anything that looks half decent - out of stock. :(

Duly noted and thanks. I’m not paying for it but guaranteed if there’s issues it’ll be me the buyer comes crying to.

Think I’m sorted. Dell Vostro i7 with a 1650ti 16gb ram and 1tb nvme for 1079 quid. Don’t think I’ll too that for the money.
