120hz 1080p most suitable GPU solution?

If I am to opt for a 23" 120hz monitor over IPS, what GPU/GPU's would I require to be able to make full use of it on BF3 for say 40fps+ on ultra (with aa low/off)? My cpu will be a 2500k and motherboard will support 16x/8x.

Do multi GPU setups still suffer from micro stutter? If so, I prefer the best single card solution.

Will it take a 580 to have 60fps+ on ultra (reduced AA to 2x AA) or can I get away with a 570 or perhaps a 2gb 560ti?

I'll only be running at 1080p.

Is 580 overkill for that res? I could get 570 SLI, would that run BF3 on 60+fps on ultra with AA turned down?

Try 2 of them in SLi, very demanding game

Your best bet for an accurate answer would be to have a look through this thread, personally I'd be happy to play game on high with no AA rather than splash out silly amounts of money for one game

You need as much vram as you can get, if you've got more money than sense, why not get two of these:

I doubt there will be any games that two of these can't handle for many years to come
