I'm waiting on the Acer 24" 120Hz monitor to come out but am I wasting my time?

I intend to run it on crossfired 4890's, are the issues sorted out with ATI's 2D clocks?

I'll be playing MW1, MW2, L4D2, TF2 and possibly UT.

Thanks in advance :)

Thought the problem with 120Hz only affected the new 5000 series cards? (due to the low power mode they use when idle).

nice i might have to take the plunge soon , my ut99 skills are suffering since i moved from crt to tft ;p which would u recommend the 22inch @ 1680x1050 or the soon to come 24inch (nearly) 1920x1080

i currently use a iiyama B2409HDS im unsure weather the ppl who use these 120hz tfts use them are native res or not as i use mine above at native

I've got the Viewsonic which is 22" at native res, I came from a 19" at 1440x900. At first I played windowed as I didn't like the stretched picture, once I made some room to put the monitor back I soon became adjusted to native res.

As you're coming from a 24" screen, I'd have thought the Asus offering would suit you best. It's the same res and still gives 120hz, it is the most expensive though.
