120Hz and ATI? (Fixed yet)

The release notes for the new Catalyst drivers (out today) mentions 120Hz but I'm not sure if that means they'll work with them. I'd like to find out as like you I'm interested in a new monitor to make the most of the new PC!

Has this been given an official fix yet? Specifically for when you have one 120Hz monitor and one 60Hz one?

So they haven't fixed it? Kind of tempers the current frenzy towards ATI a bit. Lucky I don't really need to make any decisions yet.

Yeah that is poor! It's easy enough to overclock the card though. I know you really shouldn't have to do that, though.

This is useful to know, will still go for an ATI card but for now 120Hz won't be on the shopping list...

I've been using a viewsonic vx2268wm first on a 4890 and now on a 5870 without any problems. At one point I underclocked my 5870 which put it at a much lower idle speed which caused flickering but at the normal clock speed its fine.
