hi just a little question that iv been thinking about..

the 22inch 120hz monitors have 5ms
and the soon to be released acer 23.6inch have 2ms

what is the difference if any in these if any as im currently using a 24inch with 2ms

does the 120hz effect this in anyway to make this negligible

tbh with you mate i think its definitely negligible... unless someone says different this is what i believe. i currently have a 2ms monitor and chances are ill buy this acer 120hz screen soon.. what i really want is to see/feel some difference when FPS pc gaming at 120hz.

i also use my xbox360 on the current monitor which iv only had about 6-7 months , i kinda feel its a waist of money as i like to get my moneys worth out of something before buying the next thing, i would prolly keep using my current monitor Iiyama ProLite B2409HDS for the xbox and just buy one of the 22inch samsungs 120hz that is the plan upto now as the price seems alrite at what it is atm , i deff wouldnt want to pay 300+ for the acer

whats your budget? and what level of gaming are we talking.. hardcore fps'er? are you interested in the "3D" experience.. how come your after a new monitor does it have to be 120hz?

if you just want xbox 360 on another dedicated monitor then i say just go for another ProLite :) (unless you dont like it)

the only reason to even think of a new monitor is the 120hz , i mostly play on ut99 dono if u have played this game but there is a big differnce from crt>lcd it can turn a decent player into a normal player after the change i have found , a few ppl have recently bought one of the 120hz 22inch monitors and seem to have improved some what , would this have anything to do with the 120hz or mabe there old monitors were just to ms-laggy who knows but it seems to have worked for them

this is the only draw towards one of these monitors for me, if it can make the game run smoother leading to better gaming then im all for it

well i have to agreed with you what you said there mate. im in the exact same boat and this is one of the main reasons im buying myself the acer 120hz. as well as using it for pc (FPS games primarily) ill be hooking up my ps3 with it , this is reason im after 1920x1080 resolution. if you aint hooking up a console too then yeah the samsung should be adequate for your needs i should think. if you can wait i can let you know what the Acer 120hz is like ill be picking one up soon as they are out.
