120hz monitors.

I am looking to upgrade my current 27inch monitor.
I have seen some that are 120hz and also some 144hz but the tech spec make no mention of them being 3D.

I just assumed that all 120hz or higher were 3D anyway but like I say I just assume this so I could be wrong so can someone please advise me on this.

I assumed 120hz or above could do 3d, the ones that are sold as 3d usually have the nvidia glasses sync addon built in.

To support Nvidia 3D Vision a monitor has to be licensed to use the system. There are 144Hz monitors from Philips and AOC that are not licensed to use this and are therefore 2D only despite their 120/144Hz refresh rates.

OK thanks for the replies. I am not that interested about 3D anyway but the refresh rate must look way better than 60hz.
