I'm building a new PC and to accommodate a i7 920 in my budget I have decided to ditch a new case and HDD and mod my existing case .

atm I have a case similar to the one below (Chieftech Dragon Mid Tower ATX) but without the grill holes in the side panel.

Now I want to fit a 120mm fan in both the side panel and at the top
but where can I get one of those 120mm drill bit tools that make the hole in 1 minute like in the video?

Yeah they sell those in wickes for about £12, nearly bought one to mod my case but just ended up using a dremel instead, i'm sure the hole saw would be much neater!

Probably cant link directly to anywhere that sells it, OCUK are fussy about linking to other shops. But pretty much any hardware store will sell them. A quick look through a catalog I have lying round the house (and im sure most houses have a copy) shows you can buy a set of them from there. Shouldnt be that hard to find :)

Thanks for the replies guys, I've seen them on ebay for £11 delivered

btw what's an Arbor?

I didn't even know blowhole trim existed, so thx for that :)

On my last case I used a carefully marked out 120mm ring on the inside of the case with several holes drilled around the perimeter then hack saw-ed the rest off and filed it into a neat circle. 4 smaller holes in the corners for the mounting bolts and the use of a fan grill and some black silicon sealant around the very edge of the grill.

Cheaper than buying the drill bit, but the drill bit is quite probably the neater and faster method ;)

Thanks for the advice Sabr I'm sure it looks great, but I'm no DIY man, and I'll probably ask my step father to do it anyway because he's handy :)

He said yesterday that he would jigsaw it, but having seen the drill bit method on youtube earlier I would prefer a neat job to a jigsaw.
