What're the best 120mm fans currently on the market?

I've got 4 the scythe fans here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-021-SY&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=4 for my Antec 1200 and my Megahalem CPU cooler, thinking of trading them in for something with a bit more oomph since they're not all that loud, anyone got any suggestions of fans to look into? I know there's the same fans which run at 1900RPM, but is there any others that people have found to be good that I may have missed? There was some on a Japanese site someone posted a day or so ago, but I can't find their post, but they looked decent.
(Nothing like the Delta with the huge 59DBa, I don't think my ears could hack 1 of them, let alone 4 :p )

Cheers in advanced.

noctua P12, akasa apache, scythe s-flex are the main contenders.

If you want a serious improvement look to the 38mm thick fans, sycthe ultra kaze for example

^my bad, I hadn't seen the word case. The above will be great on the cpu cooler but excessive as case fans, keep the one's youve got now for the case

Wow, those ultra Kaze fans look great. Any idea how loud they are?

I'm looking for some fans to put on a Triple radiator for a water cooling system I am currently planning (probably won't build it for a while). Do you think these fans would be a better bet than some Noctua P12s? I am thinking of getting one of those Zalman Fan controllers - would that be a good bet with these fans or are they too powerful?

I disagree. The scythe kaze fans are considerably superior. They won't be silent, even when turned down. I seem to remember you're less sensitive to noise than me though Andi, and I'm now considering trying a 38mm one.

From noctua's website
[maximum] Static Pressure 1.68 mm H2O (which is 0.066 inches h20 for the above table)

Static pressure is what you want from a fan. I'm pretty likely to get one of these ultra kaze fans to see how loud they are, it might be terrible. Then again, as the only fan running besides psu, maybe not so bad

The scythes are amazing fans, and although they arent quiet they certainly dont seem loud to me. I can happily sleep with them on and have had much louder fans -such as that on a Zalman 9700 or standard on the Coolermaster storm Sniper case. Couldnt deal with the noise they generated.

I think I'm convinced as well.

I suspect the 3k version will perform identically to the 2k on low fin density radiators but am struggling to find a source for this. I think I'm going to go with the 2000rpm model and drop it to 7V. Really not the time though, got to finish buying waterblocks first

I'm still running on akasa ambers, mind you I think I only paid full price for maybe 2 of them a coulpa years back, only ever had one of them go wrong. Think the bearing went as it was continuously clicking.

I've found that they've kept many a rig cool, and they are running full speed and I can quite happily leave them on overnight.

I do notice however that the Akasa smokes seem to have exactly the same specs for a fraction of the cost with a bonus of a bit more cfm.

For me the ambers have set the level at which I will not have a fan that goes any louder

The slipstreams shift a ton of air, with little static pressure - they make great case fans. I've heard good things about the gentle typhoons for rads + heatsinks.
