hey peeps

i have a gigabyte 3d auruora case and iam lookin to change my fans as i think the ones that come with it are not upto the job

i would like to keep silent like fans but more cfm
the front one doesnt seem to shift much air in and i need to increase it
i have the fan on full speed (front) and it reads at 1061rpm
and the 2 back ones at 677 rpm each

i feel my motherboard shouldnt be at 45c and cpu E6700 @ 48c on idle lol

what fans would you recomend or maybe somethin else that i havnt thought of

The Akasa Amber ones seem to be a popular choice.

Just found this: 120mm SilverStone FM121 (White) Dual ball bearing Case Fan + 2400rpm Pro Use - Hi End

17-40dB
Max of 110cfm (that's more than double normal 120mm fans) & it comes with a fan controller.

Craig.

You can't compare manufacturers' specifications. One will measure from 2m away and one from 2cm. Believe what you're being recommended; after all, you did ask! If you don't like the answers, why ask the question?

Yate Loons or Nexus.
