So rather than finding fans to fit my stupid XClio Nighthawk, I've decided to buy a new case (probably CM Storm scout) so i'm wondering what are the better 120mm fans for 8-12 quid?? Looking for silence mainly... but at that price, i'm guessing any that are silent will still have a good air flow rate?

To go with the red of the SS I thought about http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-006-EN&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=4
Any feedback on that?

Or there's the Sharkoon Silents at a bit higher price... So many :S

Alternatively, get the 1350rpm Yate Loon fan (instead of the 1650rpm ones that setter recommended). I have one (Blue LED) on the side-panel of my case and it is very quiet, and my PC is actually on my desk at about half a metre away and at my ear level. Try searching for Yate Loon D12SL-12 Red LED (should be around £5 each), as the red LED will go well with your Storm Scout's colour theme (if you are reallying going to get that case that is).

Id say go for the Akasa Apache ones I have two for my H70 setup and they made a massive improvment next to silent running now and even when on full there still not loud :)

I went ahead last night and ordered myself the Storm Scout + 1 Enermax Magma red and one of the £6.99 Enermax fans to test both of them. :)

That's why I chose to buy one of them, they have a higher airflow than most of the fans in the same price bracket too... Kinda seemed like a win/win. :)
