Hi I'm planning on building a Streacom Fc8 evo and noticed a few have the 120w pico but a few have 150w psu's .I was hoping somebody could help me all I was planning on putting in was
CPU:i3 3225 (55w)
Motherboard:Gigabyte H77N-WIFI
Ssd:
Ram:
Also probably 2 usb's one or remote etc will 120w be enough?

It should be all right. The system load should stay below 100W. The 150W ones would be useful for running APUs that have a decent GPU included.

I wasn't planning on adding a GPU I was just going to use the onboard graphics hd4000 rbh its going to be for xbmc. Was also wondering about adding a DVD drive

If it's for XBMC you might want to look at the APUs - the AMD GPUs are a bit better than Intel for video playback.

A DVD drive isn't much - 5W or so? The i3 3225 + board + RAM shouldn't be more than 75W or so, leaving a bit for drives and fans.

This is a reasonably powerful APU with a low TDP (and FM2 boards are very low power at idle):
