Hi

I've registered my domain name with 123-reg. I've also registered an e-mail address with 123-reg which is [email protected].

How do I link [email protected] to Google Aps (GMail)?

I've got to the point where Google asks me to insert a code in my DNS but I'm stuck on that point. I can't seem to find anywhere I can put the code in 123-reg.

Hi

I've got to the point where Google asks me to insert a code in my DNS but I'm stuck on that point. I can't seem to find anywhere I can put the code in 123-reg.

Log into your 123-reg control panel;

view domains > select the domain
>Manage DNS (A, MX, CNAME, TXT)
add a new entry > "google" type "text" <enter details provided by google apps>
> click update DNS

Go back to manage DNS and add MX entries as per google apps guide (you need to click update DNS after each new MX record is entered). Don't forget to make the google MX entries the lowest numbers.

From memory the DNS changes will take a few hours (anything between 8-24) to propagate with 123-reg.

FYI you didn't need to pay for the email services that 123-reg can provide. That's one of the benefits of using Google Aps with your domain.
