As above guys has anyone else got the same problem,
Just gone over too Windows 10 and after doing some searching it seems quite a few others have the same issue?
When scaling to 125 dpi it makes the font in apps and some Windows slightly blurry!
Wanted to know the best way to sort this?

It's because the applications in question don't support font scaling properly (Steam comes to mind - kind of annoying on my laptop).

AFAIK it's not possible to resolve it in a general way, it has to be done on a per-application basis by the developer.

you are correct.
on windows DPI is done by app basis
OSX is done by the OS

to fix your laptop issue use metro skin for steam. it uses dpi correctly :) i use 1080p on 15" and 24" 27" 4K and its fine

It's not just steam, it's some parts of Windows aswell I've noticed also msi afterburner settings window the fonts fuzzy!
It's weird has anyone else got this or shall I just jump back on win 7

all windows versions has this issue if you use DPI scaling so Everyone has this issue if they use dpi scaling

1. turn it off
2 live with it
3. change to OSX/ubuntu

their your choices.

Well just last week when I done a fresh install of Windows 7 it was fine,
only happened when going to 10?
Thanks for the not so helpful advice

Yep have this on Windows 10 to so your not alone, fortunately the windows within windows that seem blurry I don't use often like device manager etc.

For steam I turn off dpi scaling under compatibility options for that program. Would rather it be clear and small than blurry.

This was only an issue for me before the the win10 update a few months back, steam looked a right mess, but you can fix it right clicking your app shortcut >properties>compatibility>tick box Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

Win7 does not have DPI scaling enabled by default.

You can get the same effect by disabling DPI scaling in Win10 (setting to 100%).

The reason is because Windows 10 defaults to 125% scaling.
