12700k, Asus TUF - any slight OC 100c

Hello,

I buit a new computer in a Fractal Torrent case. 12700k, Arctic Freezer 360 AIO, Asus TUF DDR4, 32GB 3600, 3090, 1000W PSU.

At default, its fine, max 60-70c. However, any attempt at OC'ing leads to 100c, thermal throttling etc etc

Honestly, I may have a bad chip but it seems that getting 5GHz on each core shouldn't be so difficult/hot. Am running the latest BIOS. I tried Vcore offset but think I must have messed it up as same results.

Is anyone able to advise some settings specific to my BIOS as I am no expert but feel like I should be able to get more.

Any help appreciated.

When you start to OC does it change other settings too? For example: does it remove power limits? Are you using manual settings or auto-overclock?

Auto voltage or manual? What does it read when you stress test?

I followed this guide initially https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOGkW99wrhA&ab_channel=PCRACING but Prime 95 insta crashed when I tried to start the stress test.

Any advice would be helpful!
