I appreciate a 128gb will not run as fast as a 32gb kit but some of us need more capacity than 64gb of shiny new ddr5 ram.
Hi guys,
Does anyone know of any 128gb ddr5 ram kits available? I can't find anything anywhere .. max I can find is 64gb.
Was looking at a 13900k build , but I need 128gb at a minimum I've heard buying 2 kits is bad. Would it work? The only kit you *could* get was a Crucial one, rated at 4000MHz, but it is now EOL. You can just buy 2x 64GB kits with the same part number, but as already stated, no point in buying anything other than 4800MT/s if shopping for 12th Gen Intel.
The aorus master z790 QVL only lists a max of 32gb strangely.

Is this server RAM if 64gb module?

Yes. As far as I know, consumer boards don't support 64GB yet (all the boards say max 128GB).
How about ITX boards as they typically only have two RAM slots?
