12th gen vs 13th and 14th gen contact frame

Hi all I noticed there discontinued the 12th gen frame and there a new one for 13th and 14th why? Ant they the same seems scamie to me?

They are the same. Probably just a change in packaging etc.

As above but probably to avoid confusion - all have the same LGA1700 size - but average person will see old stuff doesn't 14th gen on the packaging and won't know it's compatible.

Not a scam just good business sense. Best to associate it with the newest and latest CPU's on that socket.

Dose the new one on overclockers have the screws with it coz it dont say anything about screws

It should do, as I contacted thermal grizzly about it a while back and they told me then now inc them, didn't buy it in the end as I got the thermaltake one for under a £10.
