12v pwn motor controller as fan controller?

so i saw these on ebay,12v 5 amp pwm motor controllers and thought..hmmm..cheap fan controllers,maybe ideal for hooking multi fans upto 1.

what you guys think any good?

i was just going to connect 4-5 case fans to one of them so tach isnt really important i guess.
