12V Rails on psu's

quick question
if i have a psu with 2 12v rails and one has 15a and the other has 14a does this meen that i have 29amps in total on my 12v rails

Not usually.

Mine has 4x 18 Amp (72 Amp implied total) rails but can only provide a total of 56 Amps at 12v.

It's often hidden but usually the total 12v amperage is declared somewhere on the PSU or the documentation.

What PSU is it?
