+12v reading

ok going to check this in bios but how accurate is piriform speccy? as it shows my 12v reading as between 4.6 and 6.2 v?

Totally inaccurate.
Never ever trust software readings. For a start, the PC would not even boot at those voltages.

If you want to chekc voltages, get a multimeter.

ok have borrowed a mates meter and -

5v reads - 5.01
12v reads - 12.10

so the software is way way out indeed.

I agree with PhillyDee never trust software for voltage readings, i had same issue with various systems of mine not reading voltages correctly, using a multimeter showed the voltage was spot on - Which yours look fine
