13/15" Laptop halp!

My friend needs a new laptop to watch films and web browse on, ideally with a 1080p resolution, good battery life and lightweight.

Dedicated GFX not needed, just Intel HD Graphics or w/e.

Thought I would ask for some advice here as I always tend to think of what I would want when someone asks me hehe.

i doubt for £400 you'd get 1080p with a 13", let alone a bigger 15" in that budget. unless its second hand/refurbed. also can you imagine how small the icons would be on a 13" 1080p screen
usually they keep 1080p screens for more expensive £500-600+ laptops.

You won't get a 1080 for that budget and certainly not in a 13". Much to high a res for that size screen anyway for general use.

You really don't need a 1080 for just general browsing and films at this size.

The only time it is a real asset is for doing heavy graphics work and CAD design. Even then I had a 1080 on a 15" for this purpose and it was a pita most of the time.
