I plan on buying these parts soon, my old build is below, if you can help me out with decisions i'd appreciate it so much, thanks!

System Specification

- Case: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition
- Power Supply: Corsair 1050HX Professional Series 1050W Modular
- CPU: Intel i7 3770K / i7 3820
- Motherboard: AsRock Z77 Extreme6 Motherboard or 2011 socket depending on CPU.
- RAM: Patriot Viper Xtreme Division 4 Series 1600MHz 16GB (4x 4GB) Quad Channel Memory Kit
- KFA2 GeForce GTX 670 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
- Hard Drive: 1TB HDD Sata III with 64mb Cache
- CPU Cooler: Xigmatek Dark Knight SD-1283 Night Hawk Edition CPU Cooler
- Arctic Silver 5 TP

I need input on what you guys think and recommend I go with, my personal opinion based on looking around is that the i7 3770K offers better performance in games but lacks in some other aspects, it also lacks in upgradeability.

Based off this I would personally go for the i7 3770K, the only thing i'm worried about is temperatures, I'd like to clock it at 4GHZ as i'm not an enthusiast who's concerned about hitting 4.5 or anything. :D

TLDR
- Which CPU/MOBO, I game, use vegas, photoshop, multitask
- CPU Cooler? I prefer Air cooling, dont want a fan that sounds like a helicoptor but I want something to keep it cool at 4GHZ if possible.
- RAM?

Also if anyone can provide me any info on temperatures between the i7 3770K / i7 3820 that would be great.

My old setup:

- NZXT Phantom White
- i7 950
- Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1024MB
- Samsung BX2450 24 inch widescreen Series 50 LED Monitor
- ******** POWERSTATION BLACK EDITION 750W SILENT ATX2 MODULAR POWER SUPPLY
- Asus P6X58D-E Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
- Crucial Ballistix PERFORMANCE 6GB kit (2GBx3) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL8 Performance UDIMM (w/LEDs) 240pin)
- AKASA VENOM NANO CPU COOLER
- ARCTIC SILVER 5 PREMIUM THERMAL PASTE

Appreciate any input / considerations thanks guys! ;)

Knock it down to 8gb ram and make sure you choose the 3820 (i am biased but 2011 is not dead far from it) Swap the level 10 for a similar sized but cheaper case like Antec and you may have saved enough to bump that 670 up to a 680 :) I'm proud of my function over form thinking.

16GB RAM cause its cheap, 3770K offers better performance in game and I wont care about upgrading in the future, I wouldn't jump to a 680 purely cause of the price to performance ratio.

As for the case, I cannot upgrade it, its too beautiful, I know its costly but you get what you pay for, it has 3 dust filters, plastic pane into the CPU, keys to lock hd's but theres so much more, you'd have to look at a video.

Just upgrade a few of the parts in your current system (GFX+SSD), going from a i7 950 to a 3570K/3770K isnt exactly night+day.
