As the title states i have a budget of around £1300 and i need to build 2 mid range gaming rigs.

They have to be Intel Socket 1155 with ivy 3570k the rest is all optional. Would also like to have Xfire for the future so 2 pci-e slots would be ideal.

I will be needing everything, case, optic, etc etc..

Ive priced up a lot of stuff on Ebay but i would prefer to buy from here for the superb customer support so if it means spending the full 1300 on here so be it, although it would be great to get them as cheap as poss.

Here are the specs i have gone for can anyone do better.

2x 3570k £375.98
2x HIS 7850 IceQ X 279.99
2x Asus P8Z77 V LX2 £165.98
2x 1tb Toshiba HDD £107.98
OcUK Battle 650W Dual Rail High Efficiency Modular '80 Plus' Power £101.98
2x Alpenföhn Brocken CPU Cooler £65.98
2x BitFenix Merc Beta Gaming Case £65.98
2x Asus Xonar DGX 5.1 PCI-Express Sound Card with built in Headphone Amp £49.96
2x OcUK 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £37.96

Total £1251.79

Edit: forgot RAM dur... help :)

Looking good, great find on the 2gb 7850s i hear they oc like the dogs ahem..

Any chance ya can spec a 650w psu wanna keep xfire available and will also be o.c these to 4.5ghz nice to keep a bit of head room

Brilliant thank you i will stick with most of them and try lowering the cost of the psu if i could shave off £80 i can afford a small 60GB ssd for the os :)

Yes i have 3 keys for windows 7 ult and also 2 keys for the standard windows 8 not sure which to use.

I have been given £1600 to build them which includes my fee of £300 so i want to give them the best possible value and ive 3 more orders waiting of which after i will have made enough to build my dream machine budget for that will be £2700 but monitors will be needed :)

Thanks guys really appreciate the help. Hats off to ya

msi dnt have a uk rma? also if i bought from here 2 year warranty so wud it not matter where the rma was? 8x is fine for xfire or sli minimal gains

Is the only difference between the boards the rma service i see te msi has better cooling does that mean it has a better power phase etc?

Ive now been told xfire or sli will not be used as they prefer single gpu use

So what other chipset would be ideal or MB with only 1 pcie slot still in the socket 1155?

I saw some b75 chipsets ?

Would a 550w quality psu be enough to push a 4.5 o.c small o.c on gpu ?

Something like the antec neo 620w modular or the antec 520w high currant gamer psu something along those lines

I know with my last setup 4.9ghz 2600k gtx680 1245/1750 2x ssd 2x 1tb i was only pulling 467w while benching. Maybe the 620w wud be perfect?

Great so far i have on order
2x i5 3570k
2x optic drives
2x 1tb hdd
2x Xigmatek Asgard Pro Gaming Case
2 x xfx 550w pro psu
2x 8gb sammy greens

Im really stuck on the mobos and gfx cards lol. Its either between the giga z77 d3h, z77x d3h (not sure on diff for those 2?) and was looking t the Asrock Z77 pro4 m pretty nice looking boards.

Not sure to go for a 7850 or 7870 i know i can clock the 7850 pretty good but is it worth paying the extra £20 for the 7870 and clocking that or sticking with the 7850 and puttting in a cheap 60gb ssd to run the os off.

You don't want to use the bay of ee's for hardware, you never know what you're buying. I'll edit this with a spec.

Edit: You want a £200 CPU in a £650 build? That's not wise...

What's not so wise about putting an i5 in a gaming build? I would rather spend the extra few quid on a solid cpu that can be clocked and last a good 4+ years without needing to upgrade that getting a lower end cpu i3 etc and needing to upgrade etc but thats just my opinion :)

Cheers guys just wanted to say thanks, got 2 beautiful machines built.

I went with
2x
Giga z77 d3h
i5-3570k
corsair gs 600w
ocz glad h+f
kingston hyperX 8gb
7870 2gb
1tb HDD
Asus sound card
BitFenix Merc Beta Gaming Case
60gb agility 3

All though i did not get every component i managed to get them built for £590 each :)

Some advice if paying by paypal and a reputable company ask if can pay by credit card to save on ebay fees i saved nearly £32 per machine.

Also another note, These systems with only a 7870 O.C a little and @ 4.2ghz plays every single game out there butter smooth including metro, all crysis except 3 but few turned down, bioshock inf, and many more @1080p was very rare i saw less than 30fps

I was saving a budget of nearly £3000 for mine but wont be spending nearly as much and will be sticking with 2 7870's using radeon pro untill the 8xxx cards are released then 1 89xx
