hi all!

So i'm finally getting back into PC gaming and my old PC is on its last legs.
My budget is approx £1300 (excl VAT) as I'll be putting the purchase through my Irish company so shouldn't have to pay the VAT on purchase.

I dont need a monitor, keyboard, mouse etc.
I dont want to build myself as I wont have time over the next while to devote to building and speccing it.

So looking at the site this looks pretty good to me...
Titan Envy Duo DC" Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.6GHz Overclocked Nvidia GeForce SLI Gaming PC
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-054-OG&groupid=43&catid=2475&subcat=2842

Its so long since I've built or bought a PC that i haven't got a clue anymore what I should be looking for.

I want to be able to play games such as bf4 on high settings and I want to be able to upgrade in the future.
Things such as how the tower looks really dont bother me.

any advice really appreciated!!!

yeah that is horrendously priced for a rig only packing a 770 gtx, definitley go with a 780 at this price bracket, im guessing you have to buy the machine as a whole?

well if I'm saving the vat I'd prefer to get it built for me.

I kinda guessed the card was weak.
I could stretch another 200 quid or so if it was worthwhile.
Should I get 16gb of Ram as well?
Is the 780ti worth the extra money?
should I just look at a totally different spec?

If you are just going to use it for gaming there is no point in 16gb
The 780Ti is worth the extra money

the 16gb ram is sorta pointless for gaming, you could always choose a set of components and then ask ocuk to build the rig for you (fee of £60) this comes stress tested and as a whole unit

Get the components you want a get OK to build it for, I think they charge 60 pounds but add a warranty to it get a build and then ask in customer service section as to cost

For that kind of budget you should get a cracking PC mate, especially seeing as you already have monitor, keyboard and mouse etc.
As 'Tohrazer' has suggested, check out the link in his signature as there's some superb systems in there, and if nothing else they'll give you an idea of what sort of components to expect for your budget.

The 770 is pretty weak, for the money.

The budget is fine. :)

No need for 16GB, 8 Gb of Fast RAM is fine.

The 780 is certainly worth the extra money, the 780ti is maybe a bit above what you need, the 780 would be ideal, for you're uses and the budget.

I used the configurator and came up with this:
