If I have my FSB running at 1333, and my memory can run at at 1333, what do I set the memory divider to?

Here are the options:
1. link them so 1:1, i.e. FSB 1333, Mem 1333.
2. sync them so FSB 1333, Mem 666

which would be best for performance?

thanks

(mobo will be Striker II Extreme, Memory is DDR3-1333)

Run the FSB at 1333 and Memory at 667mhz with tighter timings or simply let it run at 1333mhz with stock timings.

Both ways will have pro's and con's, mostly in benchmarks though.

i imagine you want more performance from your computer because something your doing at the moment with it is not performing as it should.

what do you need more performance in?

and dont say 3dmark , because that's just silly.

well all I wanted was a simple answer really.. I imagine that either 1333 or 666 is the clock speed to run. I want to maximise my performance in everything.

Also, if running at 666MHz is best, what is the point of having DDR3 memory modules running at 1800MHz!!! that would surely mean that the FSB woud have to b running at 3600MHz for max performance? Or am I misunderstanding?

OCZ 4GB DDR3 PC3-10666C7? Good?

As I am really after 4GB of DDR3 memory, (as I don't know how I would cope with only 2GB with vista and crysis et al), I have been looking into the slightly cheaper modules available.

These include the "OCZ 4GB DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Platinum (2x2GB) Dual Channel DDR3 (OCZ3P13334GK)"

Would this be compatible and stable with a Striker II Extreme, and is this pretty good RAM for the money?

Thanks
