Best value 13600k build please.

I have case/PSU. Looking for the best value Mobo/RAM/AIO Cooler upgrade (case can support all AIO sizes).

Casual gamer, mainly play Warzone.

Is it worth upgrading to a 4070ti from a 3060?

DDR5 or not?

Currently running a 4690k I5. if i'm just really playing warzone, should I just buy an Xbox instead? Serious question.

The Ti is fast but it’s not the one to buy. If you are only playing Warzone then something like a 7900XT would be very fast.

To be honest an Xbox is probably a very sensible alternative - as it’s a lot to spend just to play warzone otherwise.

DDR4 option:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £502.96 (includes delivery: £7.99)

DDR5 option:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £587.96 (includes delivery: £7.99)

FYI: B760 boards don't support overclocking a K CPU.

Would recommend this (under £50) instead of an AIO, if it fits in your case.

A better value pick would be a 12400F. You can get them under £150 and would upgrade you to 6 cores (which are each a fair bit faster than Haswell) and 12 threads, from 4 cores and 4 threads.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £367.97 (includes delivery: £7.99)

You could even use the stock cooler on a 12400, to save more ££.

For 1080p? No, a 3060 is fine. For 1440p or 4K, yes. But honestly, if you're on a tight budget and a casual gamer, then I'd just keep what you have. A 3060 is still decent enough for any current game.

thanks for the reply and suggestion. Warzone 2 has started to suffer with framerate, but both multiplayer and the campaign play really well. This has lead met to believe i'm processor bottlenecked. Can the 12400kf cut it?

I'd suggest you watch some videos like these to get an idea what to expect:

Xbox is terrible on warzone :( PS5 is slightly better holds frames better 120fps and they is none of that horrible weapon blur bug like they is on xbox that has not been fixed since day 1 ...
