13600k P cores stuck at 2500mhz

I had to update the bios to 2204 due to the cpu being a 13th gen. I also did the ME update. I guess I will redo the update. Thanks I will let you know.

Followed your advice updated the MEUpdateTool Version 16.1.25.2020 down loaded from the Asus Driver website for Strix Z690..

HWmonitor reports back P core 2500mhz @Max and E cores 3901 @ max.

Sounds like maybe the P core turbo is turned off, but it should be on by default. Did you try my above suggestion about clear CMOS & load defaults?

Do your scores in stuff like 3D Mark and cinebench reflect that the CPU is underclocked?

Yes I cleared CMOS and loaded defaults
Check in Bios (CPU-powermanagement control) is enabled.
Cinebench R23 score Single 981 - Multi core 14696
Max cpu temp 36C on HWmonitor

Hi just ran intel ETU Optimiser set to P 55x and E 43x max temp 55C

Overclock3D have a review of the 13600K and from the review, you should be getting a much higher score. Hopefully someone more familiar with Cinebench can confirm that.

May have to re-install Window 11, what do you think

If it's not a big deal, then sure. No harm in it.

What Windows power plan are you on?

Windows Power Plan set to Balanced and setting both at 15minutes.
Turbo within Bios is set at Enabled.

I will look at the Pump mounting and redo. I will advise. Thank you

Hi Just to advise I re-installed pump header with new thermal paste and added second cpu power lead. CPU-Z shows 5100mhz. great fixed thanks a lot for your help
